Rita Ora is a British singer-songwriter. She was born Rita Sahatçiu Ora in 1990 in Pristina, Kosovo, to Vera (Bajraktari) and Besnik Sahatçiu. She is a granddaughter of director Besim Sahatçiu. At age one, her family decided to move to the United Kingdom. She grew up in West London and attended St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School in Earls Court, following which she graduated from Sylvia Young Theatre School and then St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. She began singing from a young age.
In 2004, she appeared in the British film Spivs. She auditioned for Eurovision: Your Country Needs You on BBC One to be the British contestant for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest but later withdrew from the competition after a few episodes as she did not feel ready.
In 2007, Ora had her first music release when she appeared on Craig David's track entitled "Awkward" and then again in 2008 on "Where's Your Love" featuring Tinchy Stryder, for which she also appears in the music video. Ora began singing in bars in and around London, and in 2009 a A&R told Roc Nation about Ora, a few days after Ora flew out to New York and met Jay-Z. In 2009, Ora made a cameo on Jay-Z's video for "Young Forever" and "Over" by Drake. Ora caught the attention of Jay-Z and he quietly signed her to Roc Nation, in which she was featured in a commercial for Roc Nation + Skullcandy Aviator Headphones.- Actress

Yllka Gashi is an Albanian, Kosovo-born actress best known for her portrayal of Zana in the hit Albanian sitcom Familja Moderne. Yllka started her acting career at 17 after being cast on her first ever audition in 1999 and has since appeared in numerous stage productions and feature films. In 2015, she immigrated to the United States with her husband and young daughter. Yllka's American breakthrough came in Blerta Basholli's acclaimed HIVE which became the first film ever to win three major Sundance Film Festival Awards in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition. Yllka has also served as both a UNICEF Ambassador and as the face of Save The Children - Kosovo.- Rina Krasniqi was born in Pristina, Kosovo in 1996 in the midst of the Yugoslav war. Her parents, both long standing professionals in the cultural industry, influenced her to start performing and acting at a very early age. At four years old, she was on stage singing 'Daba Daba', one of the most well known Kosovar children's songs. A song that has since become an anthem for her generation and many others. During her childhood she further explored her talents in music, performing, and excelling in her training to become a singer: an alto, and a musician: piano, guitar and percussion.
In 2014, she was awarded a full scholarship to pursue her studies at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pristina. Throughout the entirety of her studies, Rina made appearances in several popular TV sitcoms in Kosovo: Çka ka Shpija (2015), O sa mirë (2017), and Egjeli (2018). She never abandoned her passion for the stage, appearing in numerous theatre plays: 'World War III' by Florent Mehmeti and 'Doll Factory' by Naser Shatrolli.
Rina Krasniqi later graduated top in her Masters for Acting in the stunning performance of Shakespeare's 'Lady Macbeth'. She has received the 'Best MonoStrip Award' at the International Monodrama Festival in 2017 and 'Kosovo's Rising Stars' at the 2019 Pristina International Film festival (PriFest). She is considered one of the most promising young actors out of Kosovo and Eastern Europe.
In 2019, upon graduating, Rina was casted for the leading role (where she has been brilliantly portraying the role of a sworn virgin in the rural Mountains of Albania) in the 'The Albanian Virgin' (2021), a German-Belgian-Albanian coproduction.
In 2022 she will star as a mute shamanistic healer in an Italian-Bosnian-Croatian coproduction 'Illyricum'. - Writer

Blerta Basholli is a writer/director with a unique realistic visual style. Her stories touch upon social and gender issues from the country where she was born and raised, Kosova, and beyond.
Basholli's debut feature film Hive (2021), broke Sundance records where she swept the Grand Jury Prize, the Directing Award, and the Audience Award in the World Cinema Dramatic category, becoming the first film in the history of the Sundance Film Festival to do so.

Born and raised in Prishtina, he was forced to leave for Austria in the early 90's, after the wars in former Yugoslavia broke out. He started his acting carrier in 1993 as Romeo in an amateur Theatre Group in Salzburg, Austria. This was followed with a contract in a professional ensemble where he went on to act for the next 3 years. In 1996 he moved to NYC and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, for the next two years. After returning to Austria in 1998, he continued working as a stage actor in Vienna. During this period he got interested in the other aspects of filmmaking and made his first short film Blownaway. Since 2007 he lives in Amsterdam where he works mainly as an actor. His debut feature "T'padashtun" premiered at the prestigious Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2017 and was selected as Kosovo's entry for the 2018 Best Foreign Film Academy Award. Agim Sopi (writer, director, producer) Agim Sopi was born on July 23, 1957 in Prishtina - Republic of Kosova. He began his studies at The State Film School in Lodz - Poland. He continued his studies in Zagreb and graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Zagreb (Croatia), in the brunch of film directing, Bachelor and Master level. During the period of the communist regime of the former Yugoslavia, the works of Mr. Sopi have been contested and banned for political motivations. The first feature film 'The Man of Earth' by Mr. Agim Sopi, has been censored and partially annihilated by decree of the executive authorities of ex Yugoslavia. Since 2000, Mr. Agim Sopi was the founder of the company AS Film Production, which has made / mainly with own investments / some feature films and some documentaries. From 2005, Mr. Sopi has had the status of an independent artist. During the period 2010 - 2016, Agim Sopi was an engaged lecturer of Film Theory at the Faculty of Arts at the University 'Hasan Prishtina'. Due to political disagreements , from 2010-2022, Mr. Agim Sopi was banned from shooting a film by the authoritarian Government of Kosovo. From the beginning of 2016, A. An award-winning director and producer, born in Kosovo, he embarked on his artistic journey by drawing cartoons and comic books, a path that naturally led him to the world of film editing. As a film director and producer, he has worked on numerous short and documentary films that have been showcased in top-tier international film festivals such as the Melbourne Film Festival, Cinequest, Warsaw, Tampere, Cleveland, Cine de Huesca, Abu Dhabi, and more. "His latest short film, KOLONA,' has been screened at over 60 international film festivals and has received a total of 17 awards. Notable accolades include the Best Live Action Short at the 37th Cleveland Film Festival in 2013, which qualified for an Oscar nomination. Additionally, the film was featured on Asiana Airline planes, accumulating over 150,000 views from passengers. The festival has European, Balkan, Medium-length and Documentary programs in competition, and also runs a regional film industry platform PriFORUM which gathers and offers great opportunity to young filmmakers from the region to advance their projects and network with many experts, film industry professionals and guests from Europe. PriFest happens annually in July in capital of Kosovo, Pristina.
In 2015 Berisha took the course of EAVE Producers Workshop, becoming part of this big network of producers from Europe and world, as a graduate on EAVE Generation 2015. She produced two feature films to date, her first feature film as a producer - "The Flying Circus" (2019) with scriptwriter and director Fatos Berisha and co-produced the Macedonian feature film "The Happiness effect" (2019) with director Borjan Zafirovski. She worked in many other video and television projects including producer of famous children program "Sesame Street Workshop" (produced 42 inserts of "3-minute long" segments in Albanian and Serbian for Kosovan audience broadcast in public television RTK during 2002-2004).
Vjosa Berisha is a member of European Film Academy since 2013, and her educational background consists of a Master of Arts degree in Media and Communication from University of Westminster, London UK and a Postgraduate Diploma on Contemporary Diplomacy from University of Malta, in Malta. In her country Kosovo, she is a strong voice in promoting LGBTI rights through PriFest's Let it Be program which she created in 2014 and curates it in partnership with Outfest LA and Queer and Migration IFF Amsterdam. - Editor
